Luis Felipe Miranda, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Luis Felipe Miranda leads Miranda Dental in Princeton, KY, as a trusted provider of comprehensive dental care. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2013 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at East Carolina University. Dr. Miranda has earned his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and received this award in July of 2025.
Dr. Miranda gained valuable experience working as an associate in multiple dental practices in South Carolina before establishing his own practice in Princeton, KY. His areas of expertise include oral surgery, endodontics, and restorative dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Miranda enjoys traveling, watching movies, gaming, and spending time with his wife, Kasey, and his dog Oreo. Dr. Miranda also enjoys being an active member at First Baptist Church, Fredonia, where he helps as part of the audio/video team.
To become an AGD Fellow, a dentist must:
Complete over 500 credit hours of CE. Earn 350 of those 500 credits in live courses. Pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams.
Meet Our Team
Patty – Office Manager
Patty, a Princeton, KY native, brings over 27 years of insurance and business management expertise to Miranda Dental. She has been with our office since the start of the practice in July of 2019. Patty also worked for the previous owner, Dr. Spradlin, prior to Dr. Miranda acquiring the practice. Patty is currently a member of the American Association of Dental Office Management and uses her extensive insurance experience to assist our patients in receiving financial assistance for the dental care that they need. She enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending quality time with her husband, Terry.
Kasey – BSN, RN - Clinical Manager
Kasey is the wife of Dr. Miranda. She graduated with her Certification in Surgical Technology in 2014 from Midlands Technical College and later went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from South University in Columbia, SC. She has extensive experience in sterile processing, surgery, recovery, and public health. Part of her role is to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and to implement the most effective infection control practices within the office to take the best care of our patients. She is deeply passionate about alleviating patient anxiety because she understands that it significantly impacts their overall well-being and recovery. Kasey believes in truly listening to patients and understanding their concerns in order to create a space where they feel heard and understood. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog Oreo. Throughout the year, she also enjoys participating in community theatre with Campanile Productions in Hopkinsville, KY.
Tori – Dental Hygienist
Tori is a lifelong resident of Princeton, KY. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Western Kentucky University. Tori joined our office in February of 2021 and is a dedicated and skilled hygienist with over 10 years of experience in the field. One of the things she enjoys most about working in dentistry is getting to know her patients and building relationships with them. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Jake, and their two children, Hudson and Harper. Tori also loves exploring flea markets and discovering unique antiques.
Courtney – Dental Assistant
Courtney, born and raised in Princeton, KY, has over five years of experience in dental assisting. She pursued her studies at The Medical Institute of Kentucky in Bowling Green and, upon graduation, joined our team in June of 2020. For Courtney, meeting new people every day and building strong relationships with patients is the best part of her job. When it comes to assisting, she really enjoys oral surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys making memories with her family and guiding her two boys toward fulfilling their potential. She also enjoys baseball and gardening in the summer. She has a passion for art and can express this through her work, assisting in dental procedures.
Cathy – Dental Assistant
Cathy was born in New York and grew up in the Boston metro area. She joined our team in December of 2024 and brings with her over 25 years of experience in dental assisting. She completed her radiology certification at Boston University and uniquely has a family connection in the dental field, where both of her sisters, as well as her mother, are also dental assistants. She enjoys caring for her patients, helping them to overcome dental fears and making them smile. Since moving to Kentucky, she has enjoyed the process of learning how to garden and is planning to raise chickens and other livestock in her free time.
